Lars figured out that he could make the ladies (and parents) laugh by striking this pose when asked if we could have a picture.

Cecilie picked wild flowers (I believe these are Veronicas).

The celebration took place in a park between the Potomac river and the C&O Canal, this is the canal, considerably more pastoral than the Potomac that has been running running high due to the wettest May in DC in 55 years.
