We do get the seasons a little bit here, but until a few weeks back it really seemed like we were stuck in autumn, with temperatures in the the 70s (that would be 20s for you celciugrads out there) far into January; then the temperature dropped a couple of weeks back and finally we had a dusting of snow or two...
Cecilie's Flat Stanley project for her friend August in Florida (they don't get much snow down there we didn't think, so we made it a winter Stanley).
On our biggest snow day yet we didn't get enough for sledding (we saw some kids trying it out, but they are a discerning lot, the Nilsen kids), but the ballerina twirled around the neighborhood.
...and Lars just kind of hung out (notice back of the Yellow House in the background as well as mommy doing a military salute).
Action kids on a more normal winter day.

Looks like fun! So glad you're posting again...
I want snow! I've gone to sub-tropical Africa on the only week we're going to get snow in England.
I checked the weather for the day I arrive back and go straight to Arsenal vs Wigan:
DRIZZLE. . .
